Beaches

People ask why I should go to Mexico, they seem to think that what is portrayed in the news and movies is Mexico, nope, nada, wrong, of course there is crime, there is crime everywhere, but let’s look at some other factors that should influence your decision to move

  1. Cost of Living- Mexico has a much lower cost of living than most of the country’s expats seem to favour, Belize, Costa Rica, Panama, Jamacia, Dominican Republic all have higher costs of living than Mexico. Yes, costs are rising, just like they are everywhere, but there are still good deals to be had in real estate, rentals and building lots,
  2. Awesome Weather- it is difficult to be unhappy with the weather in Mexico, while temperatures can vary greatly by region, so do your homework before you come, in most places’ shorts, t-shirts, flip flops are all that is needed, while others you may want to bring a sweater and raingear,
  3. Convenient Travel- Cancun and Merida international airports offer almost 70 non-stop destinations to over 19 countries, with easy connections thru Houston, Dallas, Miami for stopover flights. Travellers from the USA and Canada will experience minimal jet lag due to the countries time zone location,
  4. Beautiful Beaches- Because Mexico’s coastline stretches over 1200 miles along the Gulf, Caribbean and Pacific oceans the country has an abundance of great beaches, some of them look like they are straight out of a TV travel ad with brilliant white sand, palm trees and clear blue water that is almost always comfortable to swim in. No one can stop you from visiting any of the beaches as they are all public by law.
  5. Nature- Mexico has breath taking scenery in a multitude of settings, from forests, mountains, beaches, jungles, rivers and oceans, many within easy driving distances of each other.

So, what are you waiting for, come down, visit, enjoy and….?

See you on the beach….
